COLORADO – The Inauguration of Governor Jared Polis and Lt. Governor Primavera will be held tomorrow at the Colorado State Capitol. In the evening, the Sneaker Ball for All concert will take place at the Mission Ballroom featuring They Might Be Giants, Belinda Carlisle and Carly Rae Jepsen.

The 2023 Inaugural Ceremony and Concert event details for January 10, 2023 are as follows:

Swearing-in Ceremony
Programs begins: 10:30 AM
Colorado State Capitol, Denver, CO
Public viewing and livestream will be made available the day of.

Colorado for All Inaugural Committee is proud to announce that the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus and the Out Loud Colorado Springs Men’s Chorus and the Tarell Martin and the C2 Mass Choir will perform at the Swearing-in Ceremony.

Sneaker Ball for All 
Doors open: 6:30 PM, program begins at 7:15 PM
Mission Ballroom, Denver, CO

Performances by: Carly Rae Jepsen, Belinda Carlisle & They Might Be Giants. Photographs will be allowed of the artists. No video or audio recordings of artists will be allowed.

Road Closures on Jan. 10 – Travelers should expect road closures and detours in the area of the Colorado State Capitol.

  • Lincoln St. will be closed from 13th to Colfax Ave.
  • Sherman St. will be closed between 13th and 14th Sts.
  • Grant St. will have lane closures from 14th to Colfax.
  • 14th St. will be closed from Broadway to Grant St.

Four nonprofit organizations – the Governor’s Residence Preservation Fund, Inside Out Youth Services, The STEAD School, and Broken Shovels Farm Sanctuary – will receive donations resulting from the Inaugural Committee’s fundraising efforts.


Colorado for All 2023 is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit created to facilitate the ceremony and events surrounding the inauguration of Colorado’s 43rd governor. The Committee is bringing Coloradans together from across the state to deliver this time-honored tradition and celebrate how Colorado’s brightest days are ahead. Colorado for All 2023 works with businesses, organizations and community leaders from every part of the state to support this effort.
