Sicilian Wine Dinner
January 13, 6:30pm at Salto in Nederland

Hello Tangerine family,

Happy 2023 to all from the Tangerine Crews,

Tangerine’s Chef / Proprietor / Founder Alec Schuler will be doing a Sicilian themed wine dinner (a la his Arugula Restaurant days..) on 1/13 at 6:30pm at Salto in Nederland. If you haven’t been there, Salto is an awesome, large and beautiful coffee shop in Nederland, with a full kitchen!  And it is where we source all our coffee for the three Tangerine Restaurants.

Alec always starts menu creation with the wine in a glass: sniffing, swirling, quaffing and sampling.  Then contemplating the ideal food pairing, while referencing some Sicilian culinary heritage, conjures this one of a kind menu. Why Sicilian? On a cold Colorado January day, it’s appealing to imagine and taste Sicily!

For those who are unaware: Chef Alec created the northern Italian inspired Arugula Restaurant (which was adjacent to Tangerine Boulder) and ran the kitchen from opening in 2009 until it’s closure in 2018.  Then he opened Tangerine Lafayette in 2018 and Tangerine Longmont in 2019.

The wine dinner cost is $70 for the 5 courses and $39 for the paired wine and Limoncello.  Menu below.
