First Bite Team Re-brands to Savor Productions

The First Bite team has officially rebranded to Savor Productions to better encompass all that we have been doing in the past two years. In late 2020, we produced the cookbook A Bite of Boulder, which continues to be one of Boulder’s hottest local gifts. In 2022, we expanded with the inaugural year of First Sip, the libation focused weekend event, along with taking on a marketing client, The Sink, to help produce a campaign to celebrate their 100th anniversary with a bang. We have also deepened our avenues to give back to the community, raising funds for restaurants during the early struggles of the pandemic and later for Marshall Fire families. Throughout the past couple years, we have continued to expand our partnerships, now working with over 85 small businesses in Boulder County, solidifying our dedication to the community at large.

Owner Jessica Benjamin shares: “Our experience and engagement in the community these past two years is something we are so very proud of; but it’s our WHY that really keeps us grounded in our work. The pleasure our team experiences in producing events comes down to curating moments – a whole collection of them – for a wide variety of people. When it comes to dining experiences, to savor is all-encompassing – it is a compendium of small moments and deep meaning, something you want to keep doing.”

Just as a new haircut gives you a bit of zing and a newly discovered sense of self, our rebrand to Savor Productions inspires us to share our ethos loud and clear. We are excited to share even more ways to celebrate the dining scene, build community, and create connections through food through our website, monthly newsletter, and active social media. Our team continues to be committed to our local community in ways we could have never imagined. We serve on PTO’s, local non-profits, are members of Boulder and Longmont Chambers, and hold deep values about how we want to show up and be part of our community.

What lies ahead in 2023 is aligned with what has come before, a whole lot of fun celebrating the creative & industrious food community in Boulder. First Sip will be taking place for its second year this Spring on April 26-30th and First Bite will be back for our 17th year in the Fall on October 20-29th. Both events will be brimming with mouthwatering ways to take a bite (or sip) out on the town.

Savor Productions was born from the evolution from producing a single event to multiple events, cookbooks, a philanthropic foundation and more. The Savor Productions team is proud to produce First Bite and First Sip, two annual dining festivals in Boulder County. We also produced A Bite of Boulder (cookbook) in 2020 and launched the Food is Love Foundation in 2022. We focus on celebrating the dining scene, building community and creating connections through food.
