Shooting in Erie, CO

A shooting was reported to the Erie Police Department around 5 pm, Sunday, April 7th, 2024.

At 5:06 PM, in the vicinity of the 4000 blocks of 119th, between Jasper Rd. and Kenosha Rd, a local resident captured on their Ring camera what appears to be a blue sedan firing three shots out of the vehicle window as it drove by at a high rate of speed. Officer Oliver, who responded to the call, also stated in the initial search that they did not observe any bullet holes in the surrounding structures or vehicles. Residents stated on Neighbors.ring.com that police had found a casing on the street. Residents were home, but no one was injured.
