The Unity Party has ballot status as a recognized political party only in Colorado. The Unity Party of Colorado will have its nomination assembly on Saturday, April 13th, starting at 9am with a presidential nomination vote, and working our way down the ballot.

Independent presidential candidate Cornel West and 2022 Unity Party gubernatorial candidate are competing for the party’s presidential nomination.

Cornel West will also be speaking at a rally at Naropa University in Boulder at 7pm on Friday, April 12th:

Please email event organizer Eric Bodenstab if coming in person so we don’t exceed room capacity.

Voters who have been affiliated with the Unity Party of Colorado continuously since at least February 14, 2024 may vote on candidate nominations.

Unity Candidates can register same day. That is, you can show up never having been with Unity before and become a candidate for public office, but you won’t be able to vote for yourself in nomination.
