RiNo Community Flocks to One River North as Denver Artists Display Their Work in Progress

Save the date: the newest RiNo Made Pop-Up on the ground floor of One River North closes its temporary studio on August 27.

Denver, CO — On July 16, nearly 200 curious art-lovers filled the ground floor of One River North for a chance to peek into eight Denver artists’ dynamic works in progress in diverse media ranging from street photography to textiles and beyond. This Opening Celebration & Artist Talk offered the public an opportunity to meet the artists behind RiNo Art District’s current RiNo Made Pop-Up artist residency, which activates the ground floor of the for-lease residential building One River North.

An intimate event where the artists of the RiNo Made Pop-Up showcase their dynamic new creations and answer questions about their process, inspirations, and experience adopting One River North as a creative hub.

The following eight multidisciplinary Denver-based artists are currently based at One River North:

Armando Geneyro (documentary and street photography)
Emily Grace King (encaustic monotype assemblies)
Sharifa Lafon (time-based experimental media)
Adrian Raya (paint, mural art)
Cyrena Rosati (rock music, sculpture)
Regan Rosburg (interdisciplinary, ecopsychology)
Eileen Roscina (experimental film and photography)
Maki Teshima (botanical dye textiles)
