About Art Circle LLC

Art Circle LLC was co-founded by Erie-based artists Kristi Arzola and Peter Buwalda in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. What began as a socially distanced holiday art fair in the Erie Highlands has evolved into one of the town’s most anticipated cultural celebrations. After Peter stepped away, Kristi continued the mission, eventually partnering with artist Kayla Eggemeyer to rebrand the event as the Erie Art Fest under the new Art Circle LLC banner.

Now in its fifth year, the festival continues to flourish thanks to Kristi’s leadership and the invaluable contributions of volunteers and artists. With its 2024 expansion to Soaring Heights PK-8, the Erie Art Festival reflects Art Circle’s unwavering commitment to building community through the arts.

“Art has a powerful way of bringing people together,” says Arzola. “This festival is about more than just showcasing creativity — it’s about creating space for connection, joy, and belonging.”

Join the celebration on June 7th — and don’t forget to tag your crew, bring your festival spirit, and support your local art scene! ?
