Breckenridge, CO — Breck Create, the renowned arts and cultural organization in  Breckenridge, Colo., is thrilled to announce a jam-packed Summer 2025 season filled with bold  performances, interactive installations, and free family fun. From the return of crowd-favorite  AirStage Après concerts to the debut of gravity-defying circus acts and groundbreaking public  art, this summer promises unforgettable experiences for locals and visitors alike. 

“This isn’t just a schedule—it’s an invitation,” says Tamara Nuzzaci Park, President and CEO of  Breck Create. “Breckenridge is a destination where art meets adventure. Whether you’re  dancing at an AirStage Après, marveling at floating sparks in the night sky, or crafting with your  kids on the 4th of July, there’s something for everyone to connect with and celebrate.”

AirStage Aprés 

Breck Create’s hit AirStage Après series is back and better than ever, offering the ultimate post hike hangout in the heart of the Arts District. Laid-back summer evenings await filled with local  flavor, live music featuring regional talent and community connection – all against the backdrop  of Breckenridge’s stunning mountain views.  

Every Thursday from June 19 to August 7 plus June 13, make your way to the Ridge Street  Arts Square by foot, bike, or bus and settle in for a relaxed outdoor experience. Bring your  picnic blanket, grab dinner to-go from a nearby restaurant, and soak in the high-altitude  charm. Beer and other beverages available for purchase. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are  always welcome.

July 4th: Bikes, Rights & Creative Delights 

This Independence Day, roll into Breck Create’s day-long celebration of the freedom to be  yourself throughout the Breckenridge Arts District Campus. In partnership with the Town of  Breckenridge’s official July Fourth weekend festivities, we’re honoring 105 years of women’s  suffrage—and the bicycle, the two-wheeled symbol of progress that helped pave the way—with  a full lineup of interactive fun, community creativity, and bold performances. 

Enjoy live music, hands-on art activities, bike and dog parades, craft brews, and cap it all off  with jaw-dropping Pedal Punk performance by Cirque Mechanics—a modern circus spectacular  featuring steampunk inspired cycling, acrobatics, whimsical machines, and high-flying feats  inspired by American ingenuity.

A Creative + Culinary Affair | July 10 

The Ridge Street Arts Square comes alive during Breck Create’s signature fundraising event.  Expect live entertainment on the AirStage, creative small bites by top local chefs, libations from  beverage masters, culinary demonstrations and a silent auction packed with exclusive items  and experiences. Proceeds help keep Breck Create’s arts education and community programs  free and accessible year-round. General admission tickets are on sale now.  

Breckenridge International Festival of Arts (BIFA) | August 15-24 

The Breckenridge International Festival of Arts (BIFA) returns with ten days of daring  performances, installations, and nature-immersive art. The centerpiece: the U.S. premiere of  SPARK by acclaimed Dutch design studio Studio Roosegaarde — a silent spectacle of floating,  biodegradable lights dancing in the night sky, in partnership with the Town’s Dark Sky initiative. 

Other BIFA highlights include boundary-pushing performances, interactive workshops, and  whimsical wonders for all ages. Experience VIP perks and unforgettable moments with a  Festival pass. More info at breckcreate.org/bifa. 

Exhibition: Irrational Indigenous Insights by Anna Tsouhlarakis | Opens May 24 Experience bold, thought-provoking work by Native artist Anna Tsouhlarakis, whose art  redefines Indigenous narratives with strength, humor, and resilience. Exhibition runs through  August 31 at Old Masonic Hall, with a free opening reception and artist talk Memorial weekend  in conjunction with a free community Campus Crawl event on the Ridge Street Arts Square.

BoDeans Live at the Riverwalk Center | June 27 

Rock legends BoDeans take the stage with a can’t-miss concert at the Riverwalk Center. With  hits like “Closer to Free” and “Good Things,” this show kicks off summer in style. Tickets  available now. 

Summer Artists-in-Residence  

Meet and learn from innovative artists all summer long in the Breckenridge Arts District: Aimee Kuipur (Savage, MN): Illustrator and storyteller exploring Third Culture identities  through a children’s graphic novel series. Meet Aimee during open studio hours at the  Robert Whyte House. 

  • Justin Tyler Tate (Canada): Crafting living sculptures from deadwood and fungi that  evolve with time and environment. Meet Justin during open studio hours at the Tin Shop.  

Creative Classes + Workshops 

Breck Create’s Summer 2025 creative classes and workshops will introduce several exciting  additions to its curriculum. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, there’s  something for everyone. Explore our core offerings in ceramics, glassblowing, and  metalsmithing, or dive into new experiences like upcycled crafting, film photography, edible  foraging and cooking, and DJing for young adults. Families can enjoy hands-on activities such  as toddler art, youth summer camps, and more.
