From the artistPainting has been a passion from a very young age. I decided to focus on being a visual artist after having children, realizing that I should show them by example that we should approach life throughout our passions. I have been dedicated to creating original pieces of my own and for commissions since 2019.

My art, in essence, is fully driven by wanting to capture moments that reflect the intensity of the moment. I love painting in the style of abstract realism and expressionism, creating pieces that bring out emotions. My paintings break out of realism with bold choices of color while maintaining the essence of it. The intentional choice of saturated colors, hue, tints, shades, and tones, visible texture, marks, and brushstrokes, allows me to weave some of my own insight into the piece.

In a nutshell, I strive to create expressive and emotive art on a large scale, finding portraits and precious moments to be my favorite inspirations, and oils and acrylics my preferred tools.
