Frederick In Flight Annual Hot Air Balloon Festival
Morning lifts Friday through Sunday in addition to Saturday night Glow Party in Centennial Park
FREDERICK, Colorado (June 4, 2021) – The 10th annual Frederick In Flight Hot Air Balloon Festival will take place Friday, June 25, Saturday, June 26, and Sunday, June 27. Hot air balloon lifts are at 6 am each day, and a Saturday evening Glow Party all taking place in Centennial Park (630 8th St.) from 5 pm to 9 pm. Bring your family and friends for great memories and amazing photo opportunities!

Over 40 hot air balloons, powered paragliders, and skydivers will fill the sky as soon as the sun comes up on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings at Centennial Park. Breakfast food trucks will be on-site to offer coffee and tasty treats for purchase. After the Saturday morning lift, children can enjoy a magic show in the amphitheater, courtesy of Lee Curtis, the Magical Wizard, from 7 to 8 am. There will also be free tethered hot air balloon rides courtesy of RE/MAX Momentum.
On Saturday night, the Glow Party will begin at 5 pm in Centennial Park, featuring food trucks, a beer and cider garden, live music from “Boogie Machine,” and kid’s activities! When the sun goes down, balloon baskets will candle-stick, showing off their flames, and hot air balloons will inflate and glow from the ground as skydivers descend in LED jumpsuits.
Please be advised all activities are weather permitting. If inclement weather prohibits safe flying, updates will be posted on the Town of Frederick Facebook page, website, Twitter, and Instagram as soon as we are notified by the Hot Air Balloon event producer and FAA.
