Fine Dining for the Holidays
Kris Kringle does exist. And he’ll be joining the festivities during Boulder’s Miracle on 29th Street parade and celebration. Events run Nov. 29-Dec. 24 and will include sleigh rides, carolers, chestnuts roasting on an open fire, and more. But we’re here to talk food, so check out the decadent Christmas dinner prepared by Bacaro’s Tony Justice following a day of Santa’s reindeer rides and a charity Toy Drive. Bacaro is always a favorite, so we’re pretty excited to let Justice do some of our holiday cooking this year. 1-4 p.m. Dec. 6, Twenty Ninth Street, Boulder.
Farmers’ Market, Winter Version
Food always makes a great gift, and there’ll be plenty of gourmet options to pick from at the Longmont Winter Farmers’ Market & Holiday Gift Show—a collection of gourmet food, fine art and the wares of local farmers. Why wait until spring to head to the farmers’ market? No reason. 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Dec. 13, Boulder County Fairgrounds, 9595 Nelson Road.
Cute Kids, Great Cause
There are few images rating higher on the cute scale than kids having tea with a teddy bear. That’s why the Teddy Bear Tea is a must event. Enjoy scones, tea, sandwiches, desserts and the aforementioned photo op. Then take comfort in knowing all proceeds go to Children’s Hospital. Noon-3 p.m., Nov. 29, Hotel Boulderado, 2115 13th St., Boulder, 303.440.2880.
