It seems a little weird for a brewery to change its main attraction from a golden brew to a golden retriever.
Longmont’s Left Hand Brewing Company has more than one calling, though.
Instead of just passing out its craft beer in the tasting room, doors will be opened for dogs to enjoy the great amenities this brewery has to offer. It’s part of a benefit for the Longmont Humane Society.
Bubbly at the Brewery Dog Wash raises money for the humane society. For a small donation ($15 for small dogs, $20 for bigger ones), your dog will get some deserved pampering—think baths, nail clippings and a good hair brushing. And you get to enjoy a beer, a brat and frozen drinks while your dog gets clean.

They don’t actually let dogs in the brewery. They used to allow dogs in the tasting room but no longer. I suspect someone ruined that privilege for everyone else.
