Day one I got run over by Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the House. I got pushed into the set that Sen. John Kerry was being interviewed on. My eyes spied Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper.

Day two, it got more personal. I grabbed Charles Barkley for a quick hello and picture. I got another quick word with everybody’s favorite mayor, Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper. Who, by the way, says this convention has been the best party a city could throw. Ever. Of course, as with everyone else in the Pepsi Center, we all took a few moments to peer up to former President Clinton sitting in a VIP box.

I bumped into Al Franken on the streets about five minutes too late. He was hopping in his Town Car headed doe the airport and had spent some time talking to anyone who wanted to say hello. If only I’d been there a few minutes earlier.

He seemed friendly enough though.

We’ll see who else we run into today.
