Press Releases are provided to Yellow Scene. In an effort to keep our community informed, we are now publishing some press releases in whole.

Casey Rosenberg, a 15-year-old Lafayette resident and balloon artist, is educating the public during LGBTQIA+ History month by displaying a new flag each day made out of balloons.  Every day this month (except the 31st) she is displaying a new flag at a Lafayette business  – the first half of the month they were in Eats and Sweets on Public Road and now they are at the YMCA. She feels it’s important to educate people because awareness promotes understanding and tolerance.

For more information about Casey, her balloon twisting, and her balloon pride flags, go to her webpage:   http://CaseysBalloonTwisting.com or her Facebook page: Casey’s Balloon Twisting.  She posts photos of her flags daily and includes links so people can learn even more about each gender/sexuality that her flags represent.

Each flag entails 2 – 4.5 hours of work depending on a variety of factors.  Here are a couple of examples:  In order, these are the Intersex Flag, Heteroflexible Flag, and Non-binary Flag.
