Boulder Taco Fest returns on 8/28 with more tacos, live music, luchadores, and fun for all ages

Boulder, CO (May 20, 2021) – Today, wristbands go on sale for the 2021 Boulder Taco Fest which will be on August 28^th, 2021. The 4^th annual festival combines excellent local restaurants, unique entertainment, along with flowing craft beer and margaritas. The previous Boulder Taco Fest SOLD OUT and has quickly grown into one of Boulder’s must-do summer event. The 2021 event will welcome up to 4000 taco fans to Boulder’s Foothills Community Park.

There will be more than a dozen Boulder County taco restaurants, including ‘Best of Boulder winners”, McDevitt Taco Supply and Verde. Restaurants will serve up their best taco recipes and compete for the “Boulder’s Best Taco” crown. Attendees will also be able to choose from some of the country’s best beers including New Belgium Brewing and many others. No taco festival would be complete without margaritas and tequila. Boulder Taco Fest will offer many mixed drinks options and VIP ticket holders will sample tequilas in the VIP lounge while kicking back in hammocks and shady tents.

In between tacos, attendees will love the entertainment including 5 Lucha Libre wrestling matches (with comedian commentators), and live bands ranging from reggae to indie artists. Kids of all ages will enjoy the piñatas, luchadore face painting, and inflatable obstacle fun.

“When I thought about the perfect festival for my friends and family, I knew it has to include excellent food and drinks, along with some really awesome entertainment that the whole community would love. Throw in some inspiration from the movie, Nacho Libre, and Boulder Taco Fest was born!” states Josh Kravetz, the event’s Producer. “Now that we can bring the everyone back together after the pandemic, we’re very excited to kick back with margaritas and enjoy some live entertainment, while we let the kids play!”

A limited number of VIP wristbands are available for $50, which includes 10 tickets for tacos or drinks and unlimited tequila tastings in the shaded VIP lounge. General Admission wristbands will be available for $25, which includes 3 tickets for tacos or drinks. Admission is free for kids. Additional food and drink tickets are available to wrist-banded attendees and all tickets include the concert and wrestling.
