The Good Life Refuge Celebrates Three Years of Rescuing Farm Animals
(Longmont, CO) – The Good Life Refuge farm animal sanctuary is celebrating their third birthday and the public is invited. The ticketed celebration takes place on Saturday September 25, 2021 and all ages are welcome. The public celebration includes exploring the grounds, meeting over 60+ rescued farm animals, a silent auction, local gift items, food vendors, and much more.
Guests are invited to interact with over 60+ of the on-site rescued animals, including the newest resident Jade, a 5-month-old potbelly pig rescued from a hoarding situation. Guests can also bid on over 40 silent auction items donated by local businesses, shop for gift items, purchase merchandise, and enjoy sweet and savory offerings from multiple local small businesses. The Good Life Refuge operates solely on donations from the public and all event proceeds will directly benefit the rescued residents at the sanctuary.
The event features an exclusive VIP hour beginning at 1pm for monthly supporters and VIP donors followed by three general admission time slots. With a variety of times slots, families can choose their preferred time to attend at 2pm, 3:30pm, and 5pm. Admission is $20 per vehicle, so carpooling with family and friends for a fun Saturday afternoon is encouraged.
President and Founder of the Good Life Refuge, Nicole Brecht, stated “We are looking forward to celebrating three years of rescuing these amazing animals with our community, of which, are the same people who were instrumental through their support over the years, in making it possible for these animals to live a good life here at the sanctuary.”
