Greeley Stampede Introduces New Summer Reading Program

Greeley Stampede Introduces New Summer Reading Program

Donate TodaySUPPORT LOCAL MEDIA-DONATE NOW!

The Greeley Stampede is excited to announce a new way to help encourage learning in our youth, as well as offer a fun and educational way to win awesome prizes courtesy of Oxy. Children ages 4-8 years old can participate, with the first 100 kids receiving two free books. Those that complete their reading logs and turn them into the Stampede office will win a voucher for a free rodeo ticket. While we encourage picking books that are agriculture and rodeo based, no books will be excluded as long as they are age appropriate.

Editor’s Note: Press Releases are provided to Yellow Scene. In an effort to keep our community informed, we publish some press releases in whole.

Make a stop to the Greeley Stampede office for your free books and reading log at 600 N 14th Ave in Greeley. You can also visit Ashley Baller, Miss Rodeo Colorado, and Bucky at the Centennial Park Library, May 17th, 2022 at 10:30a for a Rodeo Story Time! Reading logs will be available or you can bring the one you have already started to add another book to your total.

Rules for Read to the Stampede program sponsored by Oxy:

  • You must read 20 age appropriate books
  • An adult must initial the reading log for each book
  • Reading logs must be submitted by June 1st
