Join the Imagination Library of Erie and Carbon Valley as they host the Dolly Parton Birthday Bash fundraiser on Friday, January 19th, from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at The Merc (4340 CO-66, Mead, CO 80504).

This hootenanny of a bash promises adults an evening of fun and philanthropy, with all proceeds benefiting the Imagination Library, which provides free books to young children in Erie and Carbon Valley.

What you can expect:

  • BBQ feast: Dig into a delicious spread fit for a country queen.
  • Themed bar drinks: Quench your thirst with Dolly-inspired cocktails.
  • Dolly Parton karaoke: Belt out your favorite Dolly tunes and unleash your inner superstar.
  • Silent auction: Bid on unique treasures and support a worthy cause.
  • Birthday cake: Indulge in a slice of sweet sunshine in honor of Dolly’s special day.

Dress code: Country glam! Put on your fanciest boots, bedazzle your denim, and shine brighter than a rhinestone in a coal mine!

Guest list: Adults only, please

Shavonne Blades grew up on the West Coast but moved to Colorado in High School. She left for California after school and returned to Colorado in 1990.
