Premier Members Credit Union Awarded $25,000 in Scholarships

and $25,000 in nonprofit grants

Boulder, Colo. (May 21, 2024) – Monday, May 20, Premier Members Credit Union Gave $50,000 to our local communities through High School Senior Scholarships and Nonprofit Grants.

“The need in our communities continues to rise as they rely on important services like Education, Mental and Physical healthcare, basic human needs and rights, and the Arts, as well as ongoing support of our Veteran community,” Jeffrey Kash, AVP, Community Relations, “This celebration event and community investment in our grantee and scholars is just one part of our Premier Gives Pillar, which just last year provided over 2800 hours of community outreach donated by our employees, and over $491,000 in financial community outreach support and investment.

In the second year of our application-based grant program, nonprofit organizations applied for a $5,000 grant. With 55 applications this year, we had an increase of 37% increase in applications this year.

Nonprofit Grantees: Colorado Kids Create, Face-to-Face Colorado, Hope Connection and Community, Longmont Food Rescue and Sam Di Paolo American Legion Post 1985.

High School Senior Scholarship Recipients: Abigail Bensler, Aidan Gover, Ena Gibson, Rachael Schmidt and Srisahanaa Chandramohan.

By utilizing an online application for nonprofit organizations, we have stronger impacts in our communities because it opens our giving program to more organizations. There is a three-year limit in the giving program so Premier Members will be able to contribute to more organizations, it will impact and support smaller nonprofits as they must have an operating budget under $1 million and will allow us to amplify their work.
