Disco Lines, Apr. 17 and 18

Boulder’s own Disco Lines is coming home. The hometown star returns to headline his biggest Colorado show yet at Farrand Field on the University of Colorado Boulder campus. Fresh off a major performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, expect festival-scale production, euphoric drops, and a packed Boulder crowd dancing under the spring sky. Night 1 kicks off Friday, April 17, at 5:30 PM, with a second night at the same time on Saturday, April 18.

Earth Day Celebration and Garden Tool Swap, Apr. 18

Stop by Paul Derda Recreation Center this Saturday, April 18th, at 1 p.m., for Broomfield’s annual Earth Day celebration! This celebration will feature a community seed swap, a bike repair station, a garden tools swap, and community tabling. Connect with other local gardens and trade experienced advice and environmentally friendly techniques to use in your own garden!

Renova New Music Ensemble: Sacred Lands, Apr. 18

The next concert of the student-led Renova New Music Ensemble, dedicated to contemporary choral music written by CU Boulder students, alumni, and staff, features works by seven composers. Renova has performed dozens of sweeping, dramatic, and joyful contemporary compositions since 2022, and this concert promises no different. Head to Renova’s “Sacred Lands” concert on Saturday, April 18th, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, doors at 7 p.m. and show at 7:30 p.m.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show with Shadowcast, Apr. 18

This Saturday, the classic Rocky Horror Picture Show comes to Sie FilmCenter in Denver. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a Colorado classic, and this edition brings yet another exciting late-night show to Denver. The performance features a Shadowcast from Colorado Elusive Ingredient, bringing viewers a captivating show that is engaging from start to finish. For a show experience that is uniquely Colorado, check out Saturday’s showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show starting at 10:30 p.m.

Tekunomama Turns 4: Rene Wise, Apr. 18

Denver-based Techno-act Tekunomama, AKA Techno Mama, is turning four! Celebrate with a night of dancing this Saturday, April 18, from 11 PM–5:30 AM at a secret Denver warehouse location, featuring UK techno artist Rene Wise in his Denver debut alongside local DJs André Orcutt and Queen of Air for a late-night, underground-focused session.

Bluebird Music Festival, Apr. 18 and 19

The Bluebird Music Festival returns to Macky Auditorium for its 8th year. In four total performances, Shakey Graves, Mon Rovia, Chaparelle, Gregory Alan Isakov, Erin Rae, Ocie Elliott, and many more will perform Strings and Stories as well as full-length performances that combine big names with intimate experiences. The Bluebird Music Festival is hosted by The Future Arts Foundation, whose mission is to improve communities through art and music.

Songs for a Sacred Earth, Apr. 23

In honor of Earth Week, the Colorado Jewish Climate Action, the Iliff School of Theology, the Center for Earth Theology, and the Alliance for Collective Action will co-host an evening to celebrate and deepen our connection with the natural world. The event will feature live musical performances centered around ecological and social justice, non-alcoholic drinks and appetizers, and education about the importance of caring for our climate.
