NAACP Seeks to Reconstitute Boulder County Branch

Community Invited to July 10 Interest Meeting

Boulder, CO – The NAACP is taking steps to reconstitute its Boulder County Branch and is inviting community members to participate in an upcoming interest meeting. The gathering will take place on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. in the Meadows Library Community Room.

This meeting will provide an opportunity for residents to express their interest in membership in the Boulder Branch, and will go a long way in helping the National Branch make its discussion on how and when to reconstitute the community’s charter: says Kenneth Flowe, member of the Boulder Branch Interest Group. He went on to say: …there will be a single item, and one item only on the agenda when we meet: When will the Branch be Reconstituted. And then closed with: “This is a chance to come together and shape the future of the NAACP in Boulder County.”

The NAACP encourages anyone interested in supporting its mission to attend, regardless of prior involvement.
