The NAACP Boulder County and Executive Committee, African American Cultural Events, BoCo invites you to our second annual Boulder County Juneteenth Celebration. Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, is an important part of American history as it commemorated the official end of slavery on June 19, 1865. June 2022 commemorates the inaugural year Juneteenth (officially Juneteenth National Independence Day) is recognized as a United States federal holiday.

Join us for our Juneteenth presentation as we celebrate the youth of Boulder County, acknowledge local community members, and pay special tribute to trailblazers of Black History. This year’s celebration is a five-day affair. In collaboration with various local community members and organizations and participants from multiple municipalities within Boulder County.
