Second Annual “Sandwich Lady Face-Off” Wraps with Community Celebration, Live Music, and Charity Impact

Boulder, CO — April 12, 2026 — The highly anticipated finale of the Second Annual Sandwich Lady Face-Off Competition is set to bring the Boulder community together for an afternoon of flavor, fun, and philanthropy. The event celebrates the friendly rivalry between two beloved local sandwich shop owners: Marcy Miller of Organic Sandwich Company and Lindsay Shaw of Lindsay’s Boulder Deli at Haagen Dazs.

The competition, which has captured the attention (and appetites) of locals, will culminate in a final showdown featuring each contender’s best grilled cheese and tomato soup creations. Beyond bragging rights, the event supports two important local nonprofits: CASA, Voices for Children, and Blue Sky Bridge, reinforcing the competition’s mission to give back to the community.

The closing party promises a lively atmosphere, with live performances from the same two popular University of Colorado bands, Sniff and Katire, that energized the launch event earlier this season. Guests can enjoy great music, sample delicious offerings, and take part in the excitement as the final judging unfolds.

Judging will take place at 1:00 PM and will feature a distinguished panel of local food and community leaders, including renowned local food critic John Lehndorff, Peter Waters of Ruthie’s Grilled Cheese fame, and Terri Takata-Smith from the Downtown Boulder Partnership.

“This event is about more than just incredible food—it’s about community, creativity, and supporting causes that matter,” said Marcy Miller. “We’re thrilled to bring everyone back together to celebrate the culmination of this year’s competition,” Lindsay Shaw added.
