PRESS RELEASE: Press Releases are provided to Yellow Scene. In an effort to keep our community informed, we are now publishing some press releases in whole. Note that this was sent to Yellow Scene with the note,“Hello Yellow Scene, I am the Organizer of The Bloody Mary Festival – Denver. I know you did a preview of the event in 2020 so I wanted to let you know that this year’s event is postponed until 9/19/21. It is being replaced with this unique virtual event that includes a box of Bloody Marys delivered to your home! Here is the Press Release. Thanks.” That link is here

Each ticket holder receives in the mail a box containing six Bloody Marys. The virtual event takes place on Friday, January 1, 2021.

New York City, NY (October 28, 2020) – “The Bloody Mary Festival – Holiday Edition” is set to take place virtually (on Zoom) on Friday, January 1, 2021 – also known as ‘National Bloody Mary Day.’ This is the second time the national festival will take place virtually.

The Bloody Mary Festival-Holiday Edition is a unique event as six bottles of small-batch craft Bloody Marys from around the country will be shipped to each ticket holder, in advance of the event. Each box contains enough mix for 12 cocktails each, so it can be perfectly split by 2 people. Boxes will be shipped in early December so that they arrive in time for the holidays, making them the perfect holiday gift. The last day to purchase tickets is Friday November 27.

Ticket holders can drink the Bloody Marys during the virtual event together with fellow Bloody Mary lovers from around the country, then join in the world’s largest Bloody Mary toast. The box also contains garnishes and Bloody Mary swag, including a Bloody Mary tote bag and enamel pin. The event will be recorded so attendees can watch the event at any time after January 1 if they are not able to attend then.

During the virtual event, attendees will hear from the makers behind each Bloody Mary mix. A panel of industry judges will taste and discuss each Bloody Mary. The viewers will have the opportunity to taste them all before voting for their favorite via the “People’s Choice Award.”  Then, the over 1,000 attendees will toast in the New Year.

“We’ve scoured the country in search of the best small batch Bloody Mary mixes,” said Evan Weiss, founder of The Bloody Mary Festival. “These hard-to-find mixes use fresh ingredients. We’re happy to support these small local businesses and to get their products in the hands of consumers who, otherwise, would have a difficult time finding them.

The Festival is much more than Bloody Marys! Tastes from local food and beverage companies, music, photo ops and a panel of expert judges add to the day’s festivities. In 2019, The Bloody Mary Festival was nominated as Top 10 Specialty Food Festival by USA Today.
