‘THE BLOODY MARY FESTIVAL’ DELIVERS A BOX OF BLOODY MARYS TO EACH ATTENDEE, GOES VIRTUAL

Each ticket holder receives in the mail a box containing six Bloody Marys. The virtual event takes place on Friday, January 1, 2021.

New York City, NY (October 28, 2020) – “The Bloody Mary Festival – Holiday Edition” is set to take place virtually (on Zoom) on Friday, January 1, 2021 – also known as ‘National Bloody Mary Day.’ This is the second time the national festival will take place virtually.

The Bloody Mary Festival-Holiday Edition is a unique event as six bottles of small-batch craft Bloody Marys from around the country will be shipped to each ticket holder, in advance of the event. Each box contains enough mix for 12 cocktails each, so it can be perfectly split by 2 people. Boxes will be shipped in early December so that they arrive in time for the holidays, making them the perfect holiday gift. The last day to purchase tickets is Friday November 27.

Ticket holders can drink the Bloody Marys during the virtual event together with fellow Bloody Mary lovers from around the country, then join in the world’s largest Bloody Mary toast. The box also contains garnishes and Bloody Mary swag, including a Bloody Mary tote bag and enamel pin. The event will be recorded so attendees can watch the event at any time after January 1 if they are not able to attend then.

During the virtual event, attendees will hear from the makers behind each Bloody Mary mix. A panel of industry judges will taste and discuss each Bloody Mary. The viewers will have the opportunity to taste them all before voting for their favorite via the “People’s Choice Award.”  Then, the over 1,000 attendees will toast in the New Year.

“We’ve scoured the country in search of the best small batch Bloody Mary mixes,” said Evan Weiss, founder of The Bloody Mary Festival. “These hard-to-find mixes use fresh ingredients. We’re happy to support these small local businesses and to get their products in the hands of consumers who, otherwise, would have a difficult time finding them.
