Jedidiah Blackstone: Traveling Poet & Storyteller
A profound narrative of self-exploration and cultural enlightenment. Jedidiah Blackstone, is a cowboy poet with a spirit as vast as the western skies. His odyssey navigates through the veiled narratives that confront the fabled myths of the frontier, charting a course toward personal redemption.
This captivating tale weaves together a tapestry of redemption, the poignant hues of nostalgia, and a quest to mend the bonds with his late father. Through the lens of history and culture, we follow Jedidiah on his transformative journey to carve out his legacy, beyond the shadows of the past.
This story is dedicated to the Black cowboy storytellers who came before. To our ancestors like Paul Stewart, who spent his life collecting and preserving our history with the Black American West Museum. To Lu Vason, who founded the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo, making sure Black cowboys were seen and celebrated.
The Master storyteller Opalonga Pugh, the legendary thespian Jeffrey Nickleson, the legendary playwright Ken Grimes, Educator and historian Grace Stiles, founder of the Stiles African American Heritage Center, to the master writer, teacher, Dr. Vincent Harding, and to our elders; master historian Terri Gentry, and master historian Daphne H. Rice Allen, to the master storyteller the great Donnie L. Betts, to the master storyteller Hugo Sayles, to master teacher Brother Jeff Fard, to master educator and author Paul Hamilton, to veteran, elder and and historian Sid Wilson, and to the next generation, poet, playwright, director, Kenya Mahogany Fashaw, historian Acoma Gaither, and to countless other storytellers unmentioned, this is for them. And this is for us.

With a large pack of bands, everything from candles to sheep’s clothing, and plenty of delicious food to wolf down, there is dire need to attend this event that seems to have something for everyone. Stretching the entire gamut of genres, over 35 bands are prepared to rock the organization’s first outdoor stage in front of over a dozen vendors each day, in addition to hot meals from the area’s best food trucks and chefs.
Experience the Music, Embrace the Community
Warped Wolf ’25 is more than just a music festival. It’s a place to celebrate diversity, acceptance, and the transformative power of art. With over 35 bands representing a wide array of genres, there’s something for everyone. Enjoy delicious eats from local food trucks and tents, browse unique crafts from a dozen or more retail vendors each day, and connect with impactful local organizations including NoCoSafeSpace!
Inclusivity at the Heart
Lunar Lux Music and Arts Festival, a Colorado non-profit, is committed to the creation of a safe and welcoming space for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. The woman and LGBTQIA+ owned and operated festival is a shining example of the power of inclusion and the beauty of a diversified and supportive community, and has benefitted marginalized communities in many ways since its 2023 inception.
Special Thanks
The festival extends a heartfelt thank you to Lodo Drum Guy for providing and maintaining a drum set for artists to use, Großen Bart Brewery for offering their space for the event, Third Rail Productions for providing and lighting up the stage, Yellow Scene Magazine and Longmont Times Call for promotional assistance, and all of our fans for helping spread the word! We’d also like to give a huge shout to our bronze sponsors Fox Dog Coffee and Ruby Ru’s Street Kitchen!
About Lunar Lux® Music & Arts Festival
Lunar Lux® Music and Arts Festival was founded on December 29th of 2023, with the intention of bringing communities together via the power of music and art. LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and female identifying individuals are embarrassingly underrepresented and disrespected in the music industry, and the organization intends to change not only that, but the lives of those in marginalized communities and their families. When festivals occur, artists NEVER pay to play, are not required to make ticket sales, and are guaranteed to be able to keep 100% of merchandise sales.
Lunar Lux® Music and Arts Festival originally began in the small Florida town of Vero Beach in March of 2023 when a bar owner asked founder Luna Rose Wolf if she booked bands. Having grown a huge interest in doing so while working as a professional concert photographer, she said “No, but I will.”
Later that week, she contacted the owner of local pool hall Pockets Billiards & Bites to see if they would like to host a couple of bands, and owner Gary McKinnond was honored to give LunaFest ’23 a place to call home. Florida bands ¡Fuákata!, Paging Mr. Herman, and Off the Rails were all aboard. (See what I did there?)
Within days, more bands were interested in joining the lineup, and the event grew into a three-day festival with forty bands. It didn’t stop there. Finishing as a 4-day festival with food trucks, vendors, and over 60 different bands, LunaFest ’23 literally made history by breaking local records for the most bands to attend an event.
News travelled rapidly, and those who didn’t hear of the event or weren’t able to attend expressed their disappointment of missing out when hearing the stories from festival attendees. This led to the creation of LunaFest ’24, which was originally set to take place in March but was cancelled due to major changes in Luna’s life including moving out of state to Colorado due to the transphobic nature of Florida causing the loss of her medications, her job, and nearly her life.
Many still begged her to bring back the festival, and once she settled down in Colorado, she did exactly that. Taking place from April 22nd until the early morning hours of April 29th, LunaFest came back, and made Boulder history with bands from several states, including performers from LunaFest ’23 as well as international acts.
Warped Wolf™ is intended to be more of a musician convention than LunaFest, featuring more vendors and fewer days, and the name hints at the involvement of multiple craft beer tents at future events, another of Luna’s passions.

“I’m My Therapist’s Favorite” – A Comedy Show About the Chaos in All of Us
Ever wonder what your therapist says about you in their head? (Spoiler: they love you, but also, yikes.)
“I’m My Therapist’s Favorite” is a hilarious stand-up comedy show that dives deep into the wonderfully messy, slightly unhinged, and laugh-out-loud realities of being human. Featuring a lineup of comedians who aren’t afraid to share their darkest, weirdest, and most therapy-worthy thoughts, this show takes an honest (and absurd) look at the stuff that keeps us up at night—and keeps our therapists busy.
From awkward breakthroughs to hilarious breakdowns, this is comedy at its most relatable. Because let’s face it: we’re all just trying to work through our issues… and if we can laugh about them, even better.
Come for the laughs, stay for the catharsis. After all, we might be a little broken, but at least we’re funny about it.
Therapist-approved (probably). Don’t miss it!

Saturday July 12th
Sinclair: Sinclair is a genre-blurring singer-songwriter whose sound merges pop instincts with raw vulnerability and vivid storytelling. A multi-instrumentalist inspired by the likes of The Beatles and Nick Drake, she’s toured with Kacey Musgraves and Daughtry.
Los Mocochetes: Los Mocochetes is a Xicano/Funk band that combines elements of cumbia, reggae, hip-hop, rock, funk, and more. Based in Denver, Colorado, they compose music to unite the gente and create revolutionary sounds you can dance to.

Why it Matters
By attending Insectival, you help foster environmental stewardship and support the beauty and importance of invertebrates — animals without backbones which make up more than 97% of all animal species and are essential to life on Earth. From pollinating crops to cleaning waterways, these tiny heroes support entire ecosystems — yet they’re disappearing at alarming rates due to habitat loss, pollution, and climate change. For 30 years, Butterfly Pavilion has led the charge to protect invertebrates across Colorado and around the globe, through conservation science, public education, and groundbreaking research. Insectival 2025 is more than a celebration — it’s a movement, inviting the community to honor three decades of impact and join the fight for our planet’s smallest, mightiest animals.
